H80 what fans ? static pressure ?

Just ordered H80 to replace H70 , and was thinking that my apache blacks fans have low static pressure ?, would i benefit with something better on the rad? looking at specs h80 fans are pretty good and you can control there speed.

is there point changing fans is there any better fans for it ?

The Apache's should be fine, I'm using a couple of vipers on an XSPC 240 RS rad with no problems at all. If you really want to change the fans, then have a look at the Scythe Gentle Typhoon's.

I bought a H80 along with 2 x Gentle Typhoon AP15's. While I'll probably want to get a fan controller at some point, even slowed down to 1000rpm (1850 models) my temps vs my Gelid Tranquilo are much better. Please note these are with the stock paste and ill be replacing the paste with IC Diamond come monday.

I2500k OC'd to 4.5GHZ on 1.35v

Gelid Tranquilo - Idle 35 - Load 71 ( 12 Hour Prime 95 )
H80 With 2 x AP15's - Idle 27 - Load 63 ( 12 Hour Prime 95 )

Also you could look at the apache vipers. Also very good fans.

I thought Akasa s-flow fans (Apache, Viper) had pretty good static pressure? I'm pretty happy with mine. Gentle Typhoons would certainly be another option.

yea just noticed myself that akasa apaches have 2.64 mm H2O and gentle typhoons , around 2.08 . guess might just stick with what i have
