H80i air alternative

As this topic started out talking about a H80i change due to worrying that it might leak and cause a problem I have had my H80i running for almost 3 years without any issues with cooling at all .... just wanted to counter the bad news with some good :)

I know that people will say you can cool better on Air and yes you are correct but my use of the H80i was also based on case airflow and overall system temps and air flow through the case and over my other components.

being honest.. If I had a receipt for my H80i that would give me piece of mind. but with no proof of purchase if it were to leak I would be royally screwed..

Ive dropped a fair bit of cash into my system and yea.. I may be paranoid but I thought I would be safer with an Air cooler after reading a few threads lately of the corsair AIO ones leaking..

the bonus is I do have good airflow in my case and it has made all my temps cooler so Im happy with it.

I'm going from Corsair AIO to Air cooling. Been using AIO's for nearly 4 years and have never had a issue, but I thought it was time to go back to air for a while. AIO's can be a pain in the ass. Worrying about pump speeds and is pump getting the right amount of volts? fans speeds??? I said enough and now going air cooled. Don't have to worry so much. The motherboard will control air speeds for me.

I'm also going back to air. Had a H100i for a year but the thought of it leaking and then having to deal with trying to get things replaced and the time it will take isn't something I fancy. Not tempting fate any longer and have a Noctua NH-U9S (matx case and mitx board) coming.

Let me know how it goes :D

I've been using a titan fenrir since the athlon x4 620 was released.
I used it for my fx8320 project too.

Temps at 4.5ghz using prime 95 at 1.43v were 45c Cpu, 43c Core/Package,
ambient was 18c. It could hold the fx8320 at 1.55v at 5.1ghz cpu 55c package 52c

edit looking at wrong tmpin
