H80i GT fan control

I have the above running with Gigabyte SOC Z97 Force.

The two fans are plugged into the CPU_Fan and CPU_Opt headers.

The fans register as 0 RPM in the Corsair software.

I am pretty sure I need to change the fan control in the BIOS, which setting do I need to alter?

There is a Y fan cable connected to the cooler's pump, you'll have to connect both fans to that connector so that Corsair Link software can get readings on both fans. You will see the Y connector on this pic, http://www.legitreviews.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/Corsair-H80iGT-Overview.jpg

Greybeard, does the 'Y' connector have rpm leads to independently monitor each fan?
Or is it simply monitoring one of the 2 fans like normal 'Y' connectors do?

The reading will only come from the first fan, which is from the main fan connector. The pigtail fan connector is just an extension from the main (including PWM), minus the tach sensor hence there's only 3 wires.

That was my understanding, but your original post is "...get readings on both fans."
