Hi again

I have sorted out my cooling issues with the help of some washers and diamond thermal paste, here is my second issue:

My PC has a humming noise that does my head in, I had to connect the fans to the motherboard and set them manual as the jet engine noise every few mins was unbearable, any idea what this humming noise is? I hear it even with headphones on lol not sure if it is these corsair fans? driving me mad. :confused:

I would open your side panel and try to pinpoint the noise, cpu cooler, vga cooler, case fans or psu.

It may even be a voltage humming noice, im sure its not common but i've heard about it before but have never exprienced it.

So yeh try pinpointing the noise and then try that particular fan. Wheras the jet engine noise is that not just a fan you have running at high rpm?

The standard fans that come with the corsair AIO coolers are pretty damn noisy, especially when under load, coincides with you hearing random bursts. I swapped mine for some apache fans and it's way quieter now

Another thing could be the fans aren't properly secured and they could be 'bouncing' against the radiator.

Also check you don't have 1 fan blowing directly into another, created a strange throbbing noise in my pc.
