h80i problems help

It appears to be seated properly. I thought it might have been because the pump header wasn't connected to the CPU_OPT pins. I (stupidly) forgot to plug that in and I was getting roughly the same high temps as to what you are getting now. After freaking out thinking it was gubbed, I remembered to plug that in!
 
Haha. Im really confused like right now its overclocked to only 3.8 from just the multiplyer no other optioms changed as i have no idea about voltage or pll or llc lol.
And ive once again used prime 95 im idling at 42. And full load its gone to 100! Im really confused
 
Before you start fiddling with the physical side of things reset the OC to stock and check your temperatures there.

Make sure you aren't using some auto OC profile or program.

Report back with your stock idle, stock load temps when in a taxing game and stock artificial load temps when using a stress testing application.
 
ok ill take a pic 2mo as im not at home tonight guys.
I have reset my cpu settings to stock 3.5 earlier
my idle temp is ranging from 38-41c and when I was playing crisis 3 I was watchjing my temps and after about 2 hours it was maxing at 69c
and also when I put on prime and chose tft1 I think it shot up to 92c after around 20 mins
