Ha! so AMD stutter in crossfire is not fixable.

4090 on 850w = BOOM
Well guru3d just posted up a review of the memory management driver and it sucks! I'm so glad I flogged my trifire and went sli because I was going to wait 3 months for the driver. It doesn't do one little bit of good! On amd 40fps for example feels awful but on sli nvidia it is pretty much the same as 60fps in fluidity.

Hmm hes right tho, the overall results of this driver aren't to the same level as the small number of titles that were showed off with the preview driver where it was giving results on par with nVidia's software metering.

There are big improvements but theres a relatively small area where its giving the level of results people were expecting and its still far from a complete solution. Its a big step in the right direction make no mistake but still a way off the comprehensive fix some people were prophesying.

lol sad person is sad, most reports say its a really good ( and read this 1st) step, considering its a BETA.

Concluding

We are going to give credit where credit is due as AMD deserves that. In a relatively short time period the driver team has been able to tackle micro-stuttering significantly. Though they are not there 100% yet the overall latency differential has improved dramatically. We have a feeling that with future generation GPU's the framepace algorithm will be dealt with in hardware, just like NVIDIA. From there onwards the latency differential should become as good as the competition. Mind you that frame pacing only works with DX10 and DX11 titles for now. AMD is still working on DirectX 9, but that will be addressed in the upcoming Beta's. AMD will also have to deal with higher resolutions above 2560x1600 and of course directly related to that high resolution, Eyefinity.

Comparing apples to oranges, when you look at the charts NVIDIA still has a better overall solution as their latencies differentials for each even and odd frame are a hint better. But the difference with AMD is very close, so close that we doubt very much it can be seen visually. We are pretty sure that over time, AMDs frame pacing algorithm will get even more refined as remember, NVIDIA has been working on this rendering anomaly (or byproduct if you will) for a much longer time.

Thats from guru3d, so where do you see they suck??

Sod off really sad person.

This sort of **** is what makes it a pain to read the GFX section on this forum tbh, and the reason why a lot stay miles away from it.
Why not accept like me (coming from Nvidia now an AMD user) that both have ups and downs. Not like Nvidia is doing really good with drivers lately.

It good to see there actually doing something about it, i expected them not bother and just build it in to there new products (somehow)..

Its good to see this from them, especially after the driver fiacso from each side of the wall.

@OP
So far this driver is superb, in all the games I have tested
BF3 - More GPU usage before 60/90% now 80/90% more smoother
Crysis 3 - Wow super smooth
Tomb Raider again is Super smooth.

Benchmark Go higher score 3DMark - http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showpost.php?p=24703998&postcount=1118

So you dont have a clue what you talking about.

Definitely a bit improvement in the latest and greatest AAA titles which is a great first step but overall results while a good step forward still have a long way to go.

EDIT: Reason I'm being somewhat negative about it is due to the people prophesying this release like the 2nd coming for multi GPU which it plainly isn't even tho its a great step forward for AMD.

Not just latest games, I have also noticed CSGO and pes13/fifa13 seem more responsive on the input, I even had to adjust me mouse sensitivity on CSGO a touch.
Games I listed above where the game I noticed the biggest change so far and reason I listed them. But I also like said noticing improvements in most games.

I'm going by the various reviews as I've not had a chance to play with the release driver myself.
