The hacking attacks on players continue. The splinter Anon segment Lulzsec said via their (or his?) twitter account that a plan to attack Brink players is in the works.
Lulzsec has been responsible for numerous internet attacks, from websites to collecting personal data. No real motive has been revealed, unless they are just doing this for the lulz. Sorry, that was a bad joke.
Anyway, Brink players should “say their prayers”, as the hacking group wants to make their lives miserable. I don’t see why need to make the players angry. Paying $60 bucks for Brink already made me miserable.
Maybe this will turn out to be somewhat good news in the end (if it ends like that.) If the servers are down for a few hours, then Splash Damage could answer the cries with some new or free content for suffering gamers. In that case, hack away Lulzsec. Free content for some personal information or downtime is a fair trade in my eyes.
Edit: The last sentence in last paragraph is an obvious joke, and I'm clarifying since people are still pretty tender after the past attacks. I, being a gamer myself, obviously don't condone hacking that affects gamers and their enjoyment, even if I don't like Brink.
