First off, I dont want to do anythign illegal and so if this gets removed, I wont moan.
I have both apple and Pc hardware and software, I have built a Hackintosh purely for giggles so I can try out software without wrecking my real Mac, and no other reason.
Anyway, the system I have, is an I3 in an ASROCK H77-M ITX with 8GB, and a 120GB SSD and a 2TB WD BLACK.
It has been running just fine until the other day when I powered it up and it said BOOT GPT and then BOOT :0 twice and then BOOT: and a half a page of garbage?
I was never able to solve that and so I thought I would just reinstall, but nothing I do will get it to install OSX again?
I am using the iboot disk, that I used to do the install, as well as the OSX DVD that I again used to install.. .Well, OSX of course, but everything I do, either gives me a blank black screen, or if anything, memory error messages...
I have obviously tried different RAM and I have tried various BIOS settings, but the last time I installed it, I simply cleared the CMOS and did absolutely NOTHING else, and it just went in without any issues.
Anyone have any ideas what I am missing out on?
As I said, I dont want to do anything illegal, and so if the MODs want to remove this post then thats absolutely fine.
