Had 2 matched 3200 DDR. 1 stick has problems.

Corsair Value Select memory - 1024 MB ( 2 x 512 MB ) - DIMM 184-PIN - DDR

Is the memory i have(had). 1 stick was causing lots of crashs and failed a ram test in all slots on the mobo so it is kaput.

Runnimg my machine now with just 1 512mb stick.

If i buy 2 more sticks of the same memory and have all 3 slots full with this memory without any negative effects to the performance?

So 3x512mb sticks? Is that an ok configuration?

RMA the damaged stick

it has a lifetime warranty

Thats means i have to post of the stick and wait ages for them to test and whatever then send something back. Really busy at the moment so dont have time to mess about.

Prefer to just order new ram and have it on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Will 3 sticks of 512mb work ok together? Or is it going to cause problems?

Stick to timings of slackest module and you should be fine. Wont get 1T or dual channel though afaik
