I got the jist of it from the replies. Sounds completely retarded.

Bet your bottom dollar the "organiser" would be in the first group of names, then naff off after he's paid a months worth.

Not at all - if you don't work, then why not?

You can't go on in life expecting people to carry your burdens.

i work hard and have been in my job 14 years.

and no one on this earth carries my burdens.

i have worked hard for what i have as im sure a lot of people have done so to.

If you don't work then fair enough but that's not what Forde said. 'Spend time finding a more lucrative job'; effectively telling people who have jobs that their jobs suck if they can't afford £20-30 a month. That is an a-holish thing to say.

im not going looking for another job after 14 years with better money to buy a game each month !

my money goes on my daughter if i have any left.

and it was a-holish thing to say.

If your job doesn't leave you with £30 spending money a month, then surely that job does suck? Either that, or you have one hell of a mortgage/expensive partner/expensive bills.

It's not a job that dictates whether I have £30 a month spare... Living in a nice flat, eating nice food, running a bike and a car and socialising leaves me with not much left, that's my choice. Not having an extra £30 on top of these expenses and being told my job sucks is a-holeish.

Also taking into account the current financial climate and possibility that any of us could be out of work at the drop of a hat makes me extremely conservative with my money.

Does not compute. You don't appear to be conservative with your money - a lot of people would consider your life a luxury.

There are people out there working full time looking after kids, wondering how to pay for their next weekly shop for basic items with barely a penny left afterwards. Then there are others wondering how to pay for a £30 computer game, while living a luxurious lifestyle.

Some people really don't know what they've got.

Yeah I realise the lunacy of the wording of my comment now. Anyway lets just leave it at this, I have nice things, and I have money saved incase things go **** up.

I do feel privileged, but I can't help feeling we're all missing the point somewhere to what I was originally arguing with, the notion that not being able to find £30 a month for a game implies that someone has a crap job, is still, very much, an a-holeish thing to say.

Lol.

You lot crack me up !

When did this turn into a debate on how much people have left at the end of the month ?

What people do with there money has got nothing to do with anyone let alone the people on here.

And as for telling people to get another job because they don't have any money left is wrong.....have you ever thought about people being happy in there jobs ?

Money is not everything but happiness is.
