Was playing a game everything going fine then the PC turns off with no indication of a reason, turn it back on to find out my pump (custom watercooling) isn't spinning ... so I switched it's channel on the fan controller and got it working again don't know what happened there. But no signal is coming from the video card to wake the monitor up I had a look at the card and find out one of the fans isn't spinning
I thought it might be a power issue so took the bottom GPU out and tested again and nope same deal both fans start up but quickly the one closest to the front of the pc stops spinning.
Took the top card out replaced with the bottom one and everything is working again so it seems the top card needs an RMA but my issue is it was a weird set of events that lead up to the card not working first with the pump (which now works happily again on any channel on the fan controller
) and at the time I was gaming before the unexpected shut down I was watching temps and everything was absolutely fine.
Sadly I do not have another power supply to test with just in case it was a power problem but everything is working great now
TLDR: GPU possibly died in a random way
