So i had a second interview yesterday at Leaders in Worthing and it went OK.

Had a 45 minute interview with the IT Manager and one of the senior tech guys, then went to do a pratical test and then a written test, then went to speak to a lady from HR for 30mins then went back upstairs to talk to the IT Manager for 5 minutes - took about 2 hours.

Was really nervous at the beginning but Noel (manager) poured me some water to calm me down. After about 20 minutes i was alright and the rest of the interview went ok.

He told me that i should find out either today ot tomorrow! I hate waiting... :(

Aw ****!

Where i am currently employed i'm still in my probabtion period and i've just recieved an email from my manager saying that i've passed and i'll be filling out all the forms tomorrow.

These put's a spanner in the works as i might not find out if i've got the job till tomorrow/Friday!

I don't really want to sign these forms and then turn round the next day and hand in my notice as that would make me look like a complete **** :(

Also, my notice period will go up to 1 month instead of 1 week.

ohh dear god, your going to work for a Letting agency ! Suprised they didnt charge you £75 for applying for the job.

if the new company want you they will wait,

I know that, but the fact that i would have only just signed the forms saying that i want to have a permentant posistion at my current emplyoers and then the next day hand in my notice - it makes me look like an idiot and i'm sure it would really **** off my manager.

You do want a perm job there though, if this one falls through.
So sign the forms and dont worry about it, not like you have been there a long time.

Completely irrelevant. A company would can you in a heartbeat if it was in there interest. You have to look out for number one. Right now you don't have a job offer, so sign the permanent contract. If\when that changes put your notice in.

If possible hang on for a day or two before signing the contract. If not sign it and deal with the new job offer and current job as and when it comes up.

Good luck! Agree with the others that you should look out for yourself and if you want to do the new job then by all means hand in the notice.
