Last week I'd bought an Astra, nothing unique but a nice low mileage car in decent shape.

En route to get air con regassed and I noticed it feels like the driver side door is open, but it's not... Long story short, some scumbag has somehow hit the Astra on the front offside panel and door, now the door doesn't sit flush and wind noise makes it feel like the door is open.

Can doors be bent back? I've already enquired about a mobile dent repair but fear the worst anyway - I'd rather not have to get a replacement via breakers if possible!
 
It blows my mind some people don't care...

Yes they're metal boxes at the end of the day but at some point, they cost thousands, at which point do people stop caring?

If damage is self inflicted it's easier to stomach but because it's someone else, you just think what a total scumbag.
