Was coming back from a mates house and coming up to my turning and car on the other road had full beams on, It blinded me for a second or two.

As I was blinded the road started to curve round and then I was over the curb and slid on the grass.

I was then trapped under the bike and could not get up or lift the bike off me.
The first 2 cars passed but lucky the 3rd one passed then spun around he helped me get bike up.

Only damage I can see was bent handle bar and I managed to ride it home.
The main thing is I walked away unharmed I guess.

Always wear full bike gear if you can peeps.

Thank you and yes very grateful it was grass and not on the road or even a tree lol

I think my leg and the handlebar took the main hit.
Got my father in-law to look over the bike and it does seem the handlebar needs changing.

Just need to get sorted for work next good thing I am on zero hours so I can skip shifts if I need to.

Cheers.

I was given some advice when I was 17 when I started riding and that in the summer when the ground/road warms up is the most important time to wear full gear, as friction & heat would peel your skin from your bones lol.

After that I always where full gear.

When I crashed this time my foot got trapped right under the exhaust.
I think trainers could fell off the way I landed and it would been very painful.

I could feel my boot starting to warm up from the heat but lucky for me someone helped me and the boots did the job.
