Hey folks. I recently did my first watercooling loop on my i7-2600K and the "bug" instantly hooked me! Below is what happened next. :)

Love em!!! Played BF3 last night for well over and hour and the max temp was 45 degrees :D Time for some OCing me thinks!

nice!

i remember what i first did it to my 9800gtx+'s ha ha

then my gtx 480's they are beasts under water and stay nice and cool.

once the bug hits....... = skint

Its awful. Im actually scraping money out of my 'new house' fund to save a little each month for new additions to my loops.

Im yet to watercool my 2 580's and not having done that before should result in a few threads popping up here and lots of brown underwear moments.

That said I can't stop thinking 'what if' scenarios each time I look at my PC.

The bad thing for me however is my GF doesn't object. I ask her in hopes that she will shoot down this 'silly' idea and stop my craving, but no. She only looks at me enthusiastically and responds very positively... Dammit woman!

Can anyone tell me if there's a solution for 670's yet? I here that 680 blocks fit but don't know I'f that is true?

yeah but they will be a lot cheaper than 680 blocks

Depends what EK do with the 670 blocks, nothing to say they won't have an extended area for mounting a full length backplate, making it look almost 'normal'.

If it is just the size of the PCB I'd expect it to be no more than £10 cheaper than a 680 block.

Agree as well that first time GPU block fitting is very much brown trouser time, once you've done one the rest are a breeze, even if it is on a £450 GPU :p

nice. I am really warming to the EK bridges now.

never liked them at first but they look good on the acetal blocks

good thing about those ek bridges they have fitted all the blocks ive used 460,470,480,570and now 580 saved a few quid not having to buy new bridges

they have always looked good i've thought plus the mechanical strength they add to the sli set up

Trust me, your wallet will hate you for it!

I get a huff and puff from mine when I order something, our finances are completely separate but she'll certainly pull some unhappy faces when another parcel arrives.

She asked me how much my recent build costed... I quoted half of what I paid.

Did you still wear the crockery after telling her? :p

I guess its a good thing im 'allowed' to invest in my PC though. Everyone who comes into my house is guaranteed to comment on my PC. Even the estate agent who came over an hour ago spoke more about my PC than the bloody house :D

Congratulations mate, looks gorgeous  What monitor are you using, also whats sort of fps and vram usage are you getting playing bf3 ?
