Well suppose cheats will appear but unlocking achievements with cheats?

whats the point, can the developers if they have cheat codes ingame not allow the achievements to be unlocked somehow?

There are cheats that work in single player and the achievements still unlock even with cheats enabled.

Look away now if you want to continue playing the game without assistance..

Press start during the game and press....

Scott Mitchell Invincible=Hold LT+RT+back then press Y,Y,X,RB,X,LB

Team Invincible=Hold LT+RT+back then press X,X,Y,RB,Y,LB

Unlimited Ammo=Hold LT+RT+back then press RB,RB,LB,X,LB,Y

Put your life at 100%=Hold LT+RT+back then press LB,LB,RB,X,RB,Y

No need to "look away" it's not like they work (at least they didn't for me)

They work according to lots of other people, I guess you are doing it wrong.

The devs are moronic if you ask me for letting that one through, defeats the point of achievements.

I take it that it's just the single player achievements that can be unlocked by cheating?

Correct

It seems that other games with cheats don't let you unlock achievements if the cheats are active, except for Tony Hawks which lets you cheat and unlock achievements too.

I really couldn't care less, if someone has paid £45/£50 for a game, they have every right to cheat and get achievements from it. It's only themselves that have the problem later.

Everyone I know feels much better getting the Achievement points through hard work than just cheating through it.

Good point, I know I wouldn't do it because it just seems rather pointless. That's the whole point of achievements!

Have you tried any of them yourself? I possibly am doing it wrong, I press start, keep both triggers pulled along with "back" (assuming that back is backwards on the left hand analog stick) then enter the codes .. and they don't work.

No, not tried myself.

Try pressing back as in the 'back' button next to the guide button ;)

LB & RB are the two 'top' shoulder buttons as well.

Yep they do work, 'Back' is the back button next to the guide button, also there is only an audible beep to tell you that the cheat has been activated, no message, so if you intend to use them listen carefully when you input the code.

Can't see why people are moaning to be honest, if you can complete the game without using cheats, good on you, but some people need a little help. I must admit I had to use cheats on summit strike, but that was due to a glitch whereby you couldn't finish the level, even after completing all the set tasks.
