Had to pay by Amazon

Just discovered that OCUK have changed their payment system and I get Error 404 when I press pay now. I have to re select Credit Crad payment then reenter my details.

Did anyone else notice this or did I miss something? I had to use the rainforest to pay them yesterday

Spoke to someone on live chat the other day, it's a known bug apparently.

Think the "fix" was to log out and back in?

Usually this can be fixed by changing the selected payment method, and then changing it back to the payment option you want to use.

I thought you just selected PayPal as normal, then select PayPal credit as the funding method in the PayPal window?

No it would not let me... the portal ocuk uses seems to be different to others with less options?

I had over £500 of paypal credit available but i could not select it, the only option was my debit card that was attached to the paypal account. On other sites the portal works as you described but not on the ocuk one.

i know it's more hassle but can't you withdraw the amount from paypal into your account and then use your debit card?

That bug has being happening since the site redesign, can't believe it hasn't been fixed yet.

No its paypal credit, not credit ON my paypal account. Paypal credit is a low interest credit function a bit like a credit card but run by paypal.... just lets you spread things out and its quite low interest compared to a lot of finance. I generally use it to buy £500 ish things then pay over next few months interest free ( purchases over £150 are interest free for 3 months )

Yea Paypal credit isn't too bad. The lack of availability on the OcUK website is down to their decision not to accept Paypal credit for some reason. There are a few other sites but they are usually small online outfits.

Not sure the rational behind not accepting it.

All i can think its that paypal credit does not offer them ( ocuk ) the same protections as other payment methods. If so then i do not blame them for not using it.
