HAF 932

Hi

Im having trouble overclocking to 3.6 with my new-ish rig. My specs are as follows

HAF 932

i7 930

rampage 3

cosair 1600

asus 5870

temps hit around 70's and keep going up running prime95 at 3.6 and thats after about 10 mins.

Ive noticed the stock fans that come with the HAF 932 run at 700rpm so would i be more likely to achieve my goal with this....

invest in 4 of these to replace my 230mm side fan? or if anybody has suggestions it would be very appreciated.

oh yeah and an h50 for the cpu

are you sure the H50 is seated correctly ?, sometimes if you are not carefull, they "miss" one of the teeth of the circular rail that holds it down .
also, unless you havent already, try attaching fans in a push/pull config to the rad.

ok ill read up on push pull. could i just use the stock fan that came with the case i guess

yea.. but you will deffo benefit more from quality fans, and prob be much quieter too.

tbh it depends how hot your room is as well

but yeh adding another fan would be a good idea to make your h50 push/pull

i think ill replace all the fans to be honest. for quite a pricey case they dont give you very good fans at all it seems. Im pretty sure the h50 is seated correctly as when the cpu is running at 3.2 speed the system is idle at around 40 and around 65 during stress testing
