Hey Guys!

I'm currently planning a new gaming build to be housed in a HAF X case. The only reservation I have is cable lengths causing issues in cable management particularly with stuff like the SATA to the DVD drive etc.

I'm not particularly computer savvy - this is going to be my first custom build and I would hate to find myself struggling to get everything connected so I was wondering if you could recommend any particular extension cables to get just for that extra security and tidiness. To my understanding the HAF X case already comes with something to extend the PSU for the MoBo?

Thank You :D

Also does anyone have any experience with home plugs? I'm considering using this rather than WiFI as it seems more reliable and capable of considerably better speeds - electrical interference not being something terrible of course (hopefully wont be!).

I'd recommend using flat cat cable over wireless any day.
It's really thin and easy to hide under carpets or along skirting boards etc.
As for cables I'd go with the nzxt pre braided stuff http://www.overclockers.co.uk/productlist.php?groupid=701&catid=1428&subid=1689

Yeah from what I've read unless you experience serious electrical disturbances/are operating through the mains box that the HomePlug works really rather well.

I'm afraid being 18 and still living at home I can't really dig up the carpet or run a cable through the kitchen out of the window and upstairs :p.

Which means the HomePlug set-up seems to be the best solution for a reliable gaming connection.
