HAF X Owners

Hi

My side fan (200mm) in my HAF X is making a right racket and needs replacing,what i need to know is whether any 200mm fan will fit back into the case?

Do i need to get the orginal HAF X side case fan or will i get away with buying any old 200mm fan?

Is the side fan 200 or 230mm any fan will do mine is almost silent

I have moved the side fan to the top of the case & replaced it with Coolermaster R4-LUS-07AR-GP Mega Flow 200mm x 30mm Red Silent Fan
Nice subdued red like the front fan & very quiet as well.

Mega Flows are exellent fans, more efficient and quieter than those which came with the case.

Just to confirm incase somebody else has the same problem ive had.

Ive since bought a Coolermaster Mega flow after CM confirmed to me that it will fit on the side panel.

Will install it tomorrow.

Yeah noise is a lot better,and temps are 2-3c better

My side fan was making a rattling noise, but it turns out it was rubbing against the filter and I just had to loosen a screw a bit.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a second top fan, and an 80mm fan for the GPU bracket thingy. I did get a couple of fans, but the top fan could only be mounted one way - the wrong way up, and the 80mm fan was too thick to fit in the GPU bracket.
