HAF X top fan problem

Hi guys,

I just got another 200mm fan for my HAF X case and put in in the top. The problem is that the top of the case wont fit on if the 2 USB ports on the left have the USB cables attached. Anyone got round this problem?

I had the same issue, but gave up trying, and just left them. Someone in a thread I made about it said this though:

Although it's possible it depends on which 200mm fans you try to use.

Thanks mate. I think i'll leave it too LOL. The fan I put in is a cooler master megaflow 200mm.

I can't remember the name of the fan I got, but it was a Coolermaster, clear, with red LEDs, basically a 200mm version of the front fan I think. You would have though coolermaster would atleast make sure that their own fans fitted properly :rolleyes:

I got mine to fit.

I bought another Cooler Master fan identical to the one already in the case.

It took a bit of effort but I managed to retain the USB 3.0 cables and get the top of the case back on.

As above i had no problems fitting megaflow fans and all cabes including usb 3.0 ones, as i changed all my fans to red led megaflow's, just be careful and it will fit.

Now guys if a female can do it anyone can.
