hafx looks

It is all personal taste really wether you like a case or not, the world would be boring if we all like the same thing. I have only had a chance to properly look around the 932 since owning it and I do like the look of the case. I personally like it because it isn't a plain box but isn't too over the top. The HAF X though does seem to a bit more over the top in the shape which puts me off but I wouldn't see it is a horrible case, then again I wouldn't say it was a nice looking case either.
 
In comparison to Antec's newest drug influenced design, the Haf-X looks mildy appealing.
 
I was torn between the haf 932 & my current case (atcs 840) and chose the 840 due to its more appealing looks (+ removeable mobo tray on ball-bearings). The haf would be preferable in terms of better air cooling but the looks are just a bit to agressive for my taste.
 
Although not my taste the Haf-X certainly isn't that bad.

Just looked up the Dark Fleet from the hate in this thread, must admit that is justified!
 
I don't mind it, but I'd much rather take a case with the styling of the Corsair 800d, or various Lian Li cases. I just prefer computers that don't look like they're begging for attention all the time.
 
It's a big lump of plastic with no elegance. I would not want that sitting in my living room. Trying not to be too presumptious but it would probably fit in a 14 year olds bed room. I would love to watch one melt in an oven though.

The haf x is like most cases nowadays, vile. Antec in particular have really pushed the boat out in the ugly stakes recently. I own a Lian Li, ill be the first to admit that its not perfect, but it does look nice, airflow is pretty decent even with the stock fans. Seen/read a lot of good things about the corsair 700/800d, finally seen one in the flesh today, bad air cooling in standard setup, but that can be changed easily with better aftermarket fans, great case for watercooling straight out of the box, excellent cable management, but it is extremely ugly looking, and the finish on the edges is pretty poor, ive seen better from thermaltake. Maybe this was just one bad example i seen, but all in all its a pretty good practical case, but not something id buy myself, purely because its not much of a looker.
