Just randomly found a new feature in W7 (I have had it for over a year ).

You can drag & drop your tray icons to re-order them!

That is all.

Meh, old. This is not a Windows 7 features thread, this is a Craig321 has found a new feature thread!!! :p

That is a handy one though, IIRC I used it back in XP a lot. Definitely used it in Vista loads.

I wish there was a way to lock them, I always manage to accidentally re-order them on a daily basis.

I also hate the one click launch which results in me accidentally opening things.

News flash, ctrl+c cuts and ctrl+v pastes!

Old news yes, but good feature.

In less trolling news, alt+right is forward in a browser, and ctrl+j opens the download box in FF.

I only just realised you can pin subdivisions of the programs in the start menu alongside the normal recently opened files.

Ie. Can pin documents for each MS Office application pinned on start menu, or games for steam etc.

WinKey + Arrows

Left/Right snaps the window to left/right
Up maximises it
and down restores/minimises it.

Just to build on that
Shift + winkey + Arrow left or right moves the current window to the next monitor!

Useful when firefox/Media player keep opening on my TV when its off.

I like that!

Windows Key + a number opens the programs you have pinned to the task bar. ie WK + 1 will open the program whose icon is on the far left and so on.
