We're in the middle of a pretty hardcore hail storm here Birmingham and I'm absolutely bricking it that my paint is getting damaged. They hail is pea sized but its coming down hard. Do you think there are any chances of my paint having small scratches and chips lol?

Your car will be bombarded beyond belief. It will not be there in the morning. It will not survive. Sorry.

Drove through a freak hailstorm in Marlborough a week and a half ago. Flash flooding down the roads, and hailstones the size of my thumb (not kidding) that made it look like it had snowed.

Couldn't hear anything inside the car, it was deafening. People cowering under anything they could find outside.... I honestly thought that my car would be properly dented when the hail stopped, but it was fine - not a mark on it.

So don't worry :)

I live just outside marlborough, this was some of the smaller hail that came down it carried on for about half an hour no damage to car.

Lol it was actually pretty bad, It was thundering and lightening and most drains were flooding...

So I went out in my car! lol

I love it when it's like that, you can just wheelspin and handbrake skid around without tyres getting damaged.

DAYUM, surely that could actually knock someone out/cause serious injuries to anyone out walking at the time?

If it's good enough to go straight through a car windscreen, then its good enough to go straight through your skull im guessing.
