Anyone else suffer any damage in last nights thunderstorms?

My car is covered in a couple of dozen little dents over the bonnet, roof and hatch :(

I don't suppose it's going to be a cheap fix so it's probably not worth getting quotes? Insurance may be the way to go?

EDIT - Damage is similar looking to the red car in this news article - http://www.thetelegraphandargus.co...._captured_on_camera_across_Bradford_district/

Yes have loads on both my cars. Not a happy bunny. :-(
Insurance will cover on my policy but going to get a few PDR quotes first which might be cheaper than excess. However a friend of mine has just been costed £3,900 by his insurance company so that probably the way I'm going to have to go too.

I love how insurance company's can get out of this by the act of a fictional person.

Fully comprehensive will cover hail damage, since you have full cover.

Third party, fire and theft will only cover third party collisions, fire and theft to your vehicle. This does not include hail damage.

If you're not fully comprehensive covered you're screwed.

Whereabouts was this hailstorm then? Must have missed us.

That said they're predicting the apocalypse tonight - hopefully we don't get monster hail as I'm not sure how my aluminium bonnet & wings will stand up!
