Hair help!

well im meeting up with my woman latre today and i had a haircut yesterday! the woman did it really really well and she made the back all spikey too :p
but ive been standing in the mirror for about 15 minutes trying to do the same , ive tryed wax, gel, putty and nothing will make the hair on the back of my head stand up! any ideas? (sensible not 240v ideas) :D

Products i got:

Architect wax by loreal
Swapshsshshskov Gel (if thats how u spell it)
Fructis reworkable putty

Help!

Rights well, here goes... this is how i do mine.

Wash mi hair in the shower every morning.

Come out and dry it... stick on all mi clothes and head back into the bathroom, by this time mi hair is still a bit damp which is the best way to style it.

Get some wax in one hand... and rub it in the other hand so it spreads about. Then just rub it on evenly on the hair. Now just use ya fingers to spike the bits up ya need to.

It works a treat. :)

Oh and btw, the best stuff to use i find is Black and White.
