Probably because it's the same urge to come out of the closet. :D Enjoy your new found homosexuality! ;)

Long as i can enjoy it whilst going sideways i'll be more than happy :p
That's the most important part. :)

I'm only ribbing because I actually work opposite a hairdressers and the girls that work there have... an MX5, a Corsa and a Ka (obviously). Nothing like seeing those everyday to reinforce those stereotypes. :p

Welcome to the club... soon we will be able to have an MX-5 OcUK meet as there are 4-5 of us with these babies now...

I would ask how much you paid for it, for the purposes of comparison, but that might be seen as rude by some...

So ho much did you pay for it then? :p

Hope the weather is good for MM3!

Get your top down for the lads! :p

EDIT: Would that be the MX5 specialist on the A34 just heading out of Congy? ;)

Wow Mark! Very very nice upgrade mate! Bet you're so chuffed! What's the insurance like?

Bringing it to the meet?

I am mate, insurance is alright with one years no claims comes in at 780 a year with direct line, its a second car though so i'm still keeping the clio for my main driver :)

Very good choice of car there! Its the exact thing i want as a next car instead of my Focus. Sounds like a fun car to drive alright, what car did you have before, i have forgotten.

Welcome to the club. Sounds like a lovely car! I'm hoping to get mine back on the road this weekend (weather permitting..)

Job List is as follows

Change Oil
Change Filters
Overhaul front calipers as offside is binding and fit new seals
Change Pads and Disks
(ditto for the rears)
change brake fluid
change coolant

That is hopefully for sat. Then I need new rear tyres and I need to source and fit a new cam gasket.

Phase 3 is tidy up the front offside wing and respray a couple of bits on the back.

Hopefully I will at least have done phase 1 by the time we get to the OCUK Motors Manchester Meet.

Whats the place like? I've been meaning to go up there for a poke around.

The two owners are the best blokes in the world, but you would expect that since your spending money with them, nah but they really are nice chaps, ask them anything and they will tell you know so much about the cars its shocking, I've been dealing with Colin via e-mail for the past week had dibs on another car but someone snapped it up before me :(

They are based on a posh industrial estate brindle block drive nice new unit for storing the cars / big posh ironwork on the walls, its in the middle of the countryside.

I looked at all the cars they have in stock and they only seem to stock the best mx5's I've not seen any as clean or well looked after as the ones they have in, all I looked at had FSH, fully stamped books, no scratches on the pain no interior marks or anything the cars a practically factory fresh.

I've been around several MX5 places and this is without a doubt the best.

Spoken to several ppl who have had cars off them and they would all buy again :)
