Hi there. Putting together a second hand build, noticed that the board I bought (z87) has the top of one its pins snapped off. Not the whole thing, but the upper gold part.
This is pin P6 if I am reading the data sheet correctly for 1150 processors. It's associated with the TESTLO.P6 function, but I can't find much useful information about this on the web.
The general thought is that certain pins are redundant if they are ground signals, clearly this one isn't but perhaps it's only used in very specific test situations that I may not encounter ever? I have no idea. I'm hesitant to try my new CPU in this though for obvious reasons, just wonder if anyone can shed any light on this.
Thanks.
