Half Life 2 Ep 2 Help

I'm in some caves on some giant spider/bug thing and i can't manage to kill it, it 3 hits me :/ How am i meant to kill it?

The Vort did tell you not to kill it before you went into the caves didnt he! So dont kill it

Correct. This bit of the game just involves using the small tunnels (that it can't get into), and basically running away from it

we know what your talking about you just need to dodge and run via the tunnels ect..

Yeah I used up all my ammo on it cause I;m an idiot, then got to the other side and quick saved after I got what I needed to... meaning I coudlnt go back to before I met him and had to continue ammo-less

that was fun

Me too. I never heard the vort tell me that i didnt need to kill it. What i actually heard was kepp shooting, wound it, but dont quite kill it. I eventually tried the run, i was even chucking rocks at it with the grav gun when i ran out of ammo.

If you kill it you get a nasty suprise so dont. (cant say too much as spoiler)

I tried to kill it, unloaded hundreds of rounds, grenades etc and nothing.

It does take some hits to kill.

They are easier to kill later on hitting with objects thrown by grav gun not shooting.
