SPOLIER WARNING !!!!!

Just came across this:

The November issue of PC Gamer magazine confirms the development of half-life 2: Episode Three and we bring some information on the scenario of this new opus (small Attention spoiler of half-life end 2: Episode Two). In half-life end 2: Episode Two, Gordon and Alyx look at a video recorded by Judith Mossman, a scientist that works along side Eli Vance and resistance. Mossman retrieves the discovery of a lost freighter, the Borealis, which is supposed to transport a new technology developed by a mysterious laboratory, better known under the Aperture name Science and big rival of Black Mesa.

There better be quicker with this one!

We have learned nothing that Episode 2 Hadn't already told us.

Who wants to bet that the "technology" on Borealis is a hand held portal gun? :P

Edit: Sorry, posted same time as the 2 above, making this post pretty pointless.

I reckon valve have the brains not to make the whole of Ep3 a portal-centric experience, they've already been there and done that with portal itself. It will probably be like the vehicle segments/the super grav gun, a short section where you have to rely on nothing but it and then afterwards you lose it.

As long as they don't charge much for it .... I just played through episode 1 and 2 and they are pretty short, at least they were free though :) (black box voucher for ep2 and gifted ep1) :)

be cool to put a portal on a wall behind combine soldiers then shoot them in the back through the portal!

Are they claiming to have some kind of exclusive on Episode Three information? It's bleeding obvious to anyone that plays Episode Two what it's going to be about.

Clearly not.

Besides, there was plenty of EP2 stuff released while EP1 was current that didn't give away anything from EP3... Valve had that down to an irritatingly fine art.

Thats not the same thing though.

There were details given about EP1 end events with EP2 information.

This is what is happening here, you're reading about EP2 end events with EP3 consequences.

Couple of other things i just found on the net:

Half-Life 2: Episode Three will be the third and final installment in a series of episodes following the 2004 first-person shooter computer game Half-Life 2, from Valve Corporation. [1] It will be the last in the currently planned story arc, although not the end of the Half-Life franchise.

Like other Half-Life 2 episodes, Episode Three will follow the adventures of Gordon Freeman, and will be set in the Arctic.

i was right! gordon is gonna wipe out the combine then get frozen by the Gman until your 'services' are needed again. Perfect way to start fresh with a new storyline imo.

Gordons gonna portal himself to the Combine world, alyx will then destroy the portal (as her dad wanted), leaving gordon stranded. He pwns the combine, world goes nuclear only to be saved at the last minute and thrown into the fridge by Gman.

How do you know what article(s) I was referring to?

Why is this turning into a rumpus over a simple request to stick "spoliers" in the thread title?
