Half-Life 2 - Episodes

I've just finished HL2 : EP2 again with the commentaries on. They are actually really interesting and give you a whole new appreciation for the effort Valve put into the game. You can also see why they take forever to get games out.

I'm going to play through HL2 and EP1 with commentaries on soon, and I'd recommend anyone else who is a fan of these games to do it too.

On that note, I've been looking about for info on EP3 and it seems very scarce, is there even at least a guessed release date for this game?!

I can't wait to shoot the **** out of that dam advisor!

Are the commentaries included on the Xbox 360 version of the Orange Box?

They are indeed. Although they are a bit buggy when showing subtitles

The only info I've heard was way back in September when they said Ep3 would be hopefully realsed around 2009 as they were still working on the story.

Apart from that, I honestly don't know but can't wait!!

More important to me would be being able to get anything from the orange box to work.

HL2 worked perfectly, downloaded episode 1, source updated to orange box version....and now none of my source games will run, all of them now suffer from the stuttering sound lockups and crashes.

Apparently caused by the updated source engine needing higher specs...which means I can't play any of them until I upgrade my comp...which I can't afford to do

never thought of turning them on, i'll start from HL2 and work up

on my PC of course, how it's meant to be played
