Half Life 2 - Free Code

If anyone else has a gift code knocking about i'd love to give this game a try. I had an irrational aversion to Steam when HL2 was new (no idea why, maybe i thought it was spyware :D). Using it now for Fear 2 with no problems :rolleyes:

And if you'd like a funny, how about this from the desk of Homer J.:

Marge: Homer that's supposed to be leather patches on a tweed jacket, not the other way around. You've ruined a perfectly good jacket.

if you still have your HL2 key, you can just use the 'add a game to steam' link, and enter your key :)
 
Yes but if you bought the game ages ago, the code will still work.

Its not a free version. People who alrady had HL2 and bought Orange Box (also including HL2) were given a spare code to give to a friend.

Thats where these originate from, not a special offer or anything.

I think Bledd mis-understood what you said and thought you already bought it just never played it because of steam.
 
I actually have one as well and was gonna start a thread soon to give it away, but I might as well use this one now. Creed I'd like to pm you to get your email address or SteamID but only just found out pm's are disabled. What's the in trust thing everyone is talking about?

If you look at his post, in the lower right corner there is a button called trust, click on that and login and you can see his mail and IM info :)
