Half Life 2 Help!

Hi guys my buddy has just brought Half Life 2 for the xbox and we are playing it on the 360 on his HDTV at 1080i but it seems to be laggy as hell?! We have put the resolution down but it doesn't make any difference so do you guys know how to fix this?

All I could guess is that it would be something to do with the software emulation on the Xbox360?

When I was playing it I had to set the Hz in display from 60Hz to 50Hz, worked fine after that, it never had a high fps though, I think that game really stressed the Xbox.

I found quite a few of the Xbox 1 games have crapola frame rates on the 360. At least with Half Life 2, the 360 will be getting its own native version in October. I'd hang on for that.

Get it on the pc instead! you don't need anything too powerful to run that game anymore so just a standard rig would do, either that or geta cheap xbox and see if that helps?

Or wait for the Xbox360 version to get 5 games in one...
