Cinematic mod is well worth playing, it makes the graphics a lot better and the different music gives it a different mood. It can make some of the people look weird though at times, but in general better.
Cinematic mod v10 could work with 32bit windows. you just need to make sure every as much of that 4gb of ram is free as is possible before running the game. Not supported however, so may not be issue free (but can work).
If I try CM10 and have issues or poor performance, can you uninstall it and revert to the original HL2? Or do you have to just delete the whole HL2 folder and download HL2 all over again from Steam?
The Hidden is my favourite. I would say it's my favourite online game. I'll give you a brief decription of it:
There is a small number of you (often about 4-8) in a half-life 2 type level. In turn, one of you will be the hidden who is almost invisible and only has a knife as a weapon oh. and sometimes 1-3 grenades depending on how many other players are in the level. That's to to stop people camping in a group. The rest of you have guns but with a limited amount of ammo so you can't just spray bullets everywhere hoping to find him. the hidden will try to take each player down one by one using the knife and everyone else tries to work out where he is and then all you have to do is shoot him. Simple eh ?
When I say almost invisible, he doesn't exactly have any image but his outline just slighty disorts what ever is behind him if you are looking through him. If you stand still and he just runs across the screen infront of you then you can see him but if you are on the move it can be quite hard to spot.
