Hi,

Currently Half-Life 2 is $19.95 on the Steam website.

I just wondered... does it include Counter Strike Source still?

i believe there is a package called "the big one" with every hl2 add on included, costing around $69.95? so for 35 quid u get all of it ;o

Dont retail versions of HL2 come with CSS because when I got mine it came with CSS aswell.

As far as I know its the game of the year edition that has CS:S with it.

The original retail release came with CS:S, but that'll be quite hard to chase up, as it's not made any more. Buying them separately off Steam should do the job.

I just came to this thread to say exactly the same

GOTY Edition: Half-Life 2, CSS, Half-Life Source & Deathmatch for £15

Time to order I think.

I just got with HL2 from the local shop, friend actually got it for me (someone to play against, now I'm hooked on CSS...)

Another one my of friends did this... Bought a copy of HL2 installed Steam, used the CD Key and then returned it to the shop.

He got a full refund :eek:

Effectively stealing the game, and ripping off the poor sod who is unlucky enough to purchase the game as pre-owned.

All they have to do is take a pic of the box with the CD key and send it off. The games would then get transferred over. I hope someone does it as well, the little ****.
