I never got around to completing it, probably because it ran too crap on my 9800pro. Its installed on steam but i havent played it in ages

Might give it a go tomorrow, what do I need to get as far as patches and texture packs etc? Doesnt steam sort out the patches, i know there is a very high texture mod/patch somewhere on the net

Steam will keep it upto date, there is the cinematic mod but tbh it just makes it look very tacky.

First time i played it, it was on a 9800pro and ran fine at 1280x1024.

I played through it pretty maxed out on a X800XT. One of the best games I have ever played. Has everything. Graphics were out of this world for the time, and a great story.

First time I played through was on a 9800pro at 1280x1024. Wasn't fast enough for AA, but everything else maxed, including 8XAF.

Tacky? My installation doesn't look tacky at all, it's just looks the same as usual but with higher-res textures.
