Half Open Connections

I downloaded the patch for this and set the limit to 80.

I'm still getting the 4226 Event ID error, do you think I should increase the limit?

All that error means is that windows is resetting the limit.

I kept getting it so i installed the patch, let windows moan about it and click no, then keep existing file. The patch finished then i restarted the pc. Havn't had any probs yet

Oh and set it to 99 and the torrent program to 80

On the patch I have it states the current value and asks if you would like to increase it. It also states that anyhting over 50 may result in performance issues not to mention totally bypassing the reason the limit was put in place (all be it stupidly low for things like p2p). If you are hitting 80+ half open connections you may want to look at why that is.

So I should/shouldn't exceed 80? :confused:

(I changed to 80 because at 50, I also got the error)
