Had some issue after i tried installing XP pro to a separate partition on a slave drive see HERE that now all sorted
but may have found a separate issue that relates to the last one
on my win XP drive cant now create new partition?, (partition magic) keeps coming back error small clusters or something ill find if important, so i fort id defrage the disk see if that sorts it but on completion it says some movable files cant be moved ? cos in use so i thought OK ill defrage in safe mode (can u actually do this ?)
only this is my new problem cant log in to safe mode ? says "windows root>\system 32\ hall.dll" missing or corrupt
goggled that and found a program called parent logic PC health adviser.exe anyone used this or is there an easier way to replace file don't want to download yet another free app that bombards me with spam adverts excreta
