My 350d's just arrived today and the battery is charging. Shall be shooting like mad for the next few days as I try to learn the camera's layout and menu's (With the only other SLR I've ever used being a 35 year old Manual Practika it looked a bit daunting!) Shall post some pictures as soon as they're fit for public viewing. :D

It took me 2 days to get used to the settings. I had it in Aperture Priority but will try it on manual as thayt was what I was used to before anyway. Took some nice shots whilst walking my Dog today. Will process them and share any I like. So glad I took the plunge and bought the 50mm F1.8 lens too, some of the shots from that seemed great.

And then I go and drop the camera off my desk with the 50mm attached. The camera is still in working order but the lens i shafted!
Optics are fine but what appear to be two metal rings beneath the focusing ring are protruding out and it won't auto focus properly. I shall have to take a shot of it with the kit lens, so you can all share my pain. Anyone got the number for the samaritans? :(

Here's three from walking the dog. Haven't done any processing yet, just a quick resize and save as JPEG in Photoshop.
