Halloween Kills

I watched the original on release and remember thinking it was fantastic. None of the sequels have captured the original atmosphere, although having said that I think I've only watched a couple of them.

The 2018 movie was good, this looks better, set on the same night as the 2018 movie.

Is it worth me going back and watching these from the first movie or is it better to start with the more recent ones?

As far as I am aware, the 2018 film is supposed to be a direct sequel to the original 1978 film and so all the other films in-between aren't part this storyline anymore.

2018 Halloween was a refreshing surprise, I was hugely cynical until I saw it. This trailer seems decent as well, I like how they've brought back a lot of the original characters, quite optimistic.

Believe we get Halloween Ends next year, delays aside.

Another milked to death franchise.
He dies, comes back! He dies, comes back!

Still, I'll enjoy it :)

Technically he's never really died besides h20 which they undone with a cheesy retcon that never made much sense. But as far as this timelines go the only movies that are in it are the original and the 2018 movie, then this, then halloween ends.
