halo 2 and xbox 360

just wondering if i need to connect the component cable to get the live update for this game so it can run with the vga cable? Tried running it with the vga cable on my 20" monitor, keep geting an error blabing about wanting 50hz.

If you can, reconnect the console using composite, and set the console to 50hz, then reconnect on the VGA. That should fix it I believe.

^That will fix it. Had the same hassle myself. I couldn't get into Halo2. I bought it over the hype surrounded the brilliant Halo3 trailer. Upon playing Halo2 I just couldn't see why everyone thought it was so good.

Anyways, I had to plug the Xbox to a normal TV because my VGA cable wouldnt accept 50hz... it's annoying :/

Pain in the arse this, i think mk:deception needs it to be set to 60hz and now halo 2 wants it at 50hz. :rolleyes:

Cable swapping anytime i want to play a specific game. Im almost sure though my 360 is set to 50hz as it is, have to wait till these map packs dload to check it out.

Well you put in what you thought of the game despite it having zero relevance to the topic at hand. It's just like the hundreds of other bandwagon-hopping posts I've seen on the net.

and also said mine worked without doing anything, and its not bandwagon hopping, its called a opinion, its what forums are for....

His post was perfectly valid and didn't need you to start having a go at him for it. If on the other hand had he said:
"Don't bother playing Halo 2, it's a load of rubbish", then it wouldn't have been a valid or useful post.
