i dont know if its the game or my new bigger monitor but this game seems to make me feel ill after about 30mins playing if not less, later im going to have a play on sc2 and crysis to see what it is.

ive never felt like this playing a game before unless im playing for a long time, not 30mions

It would appear you have a case of Playstation fanboiitis. You complain about playing Halo and any other type of game that never came out on the PS3. The only cure is immediate death.

I think I'm going to have to play on the 24 inch, any game on the 27 seems to give me this feeling

No aids here :D

don't worry, i still to this day suffer incredible amounts of sickness whenever i dare to load up unreal tournament III on my PC, it just gives me migrane, don't understand why, nothing else does that, no games, no TV shows, nothing!

I have found out that I think half life 2 gives me the worst feeling.. dunno if its the motion? But with even sc2 doing it a bit must be down to the 27 inch monitor, nothing else has changed, it will be annoying if I do indeed have to switch to the 24 for gaming, and I almost got rid of it

Least I'm not alone

always wondered if it was down to refresh rate or frame-rates, since i get some stupid frame-rates in unreal tournament 3, more than any other game i play (especially crysis!), anyone know any connection between refresh rate/frame-rate and sickness whilst gaming?

I'm going to have to try crysis next on the 27 as I've played for ages on the 24 and never had issues, if I feel sick with that on the 27 ill have to conclude that monitor is too big for gaming.. at least my temptation to go eyefinity is over

Increase your FOV - a lot of people had motion sickness with HL2 because it has a very low FOV by default (75 or something like that), which especially on widescreen monitors is very zoomed in.

I know exactly what you mean OP. I felt this way each time I played Just Cause 2. And it ONLY happened with Just Cause 2. I have a 3-screen Eyefinity setup but using the Catalyst profile manager I turned off the outer two monitors and played Just Cause 2 on just the single screen.

And still got a sickness sensation. Sometimes it trigged a headache even. Uninstalled now.

Still intrigues as to why it was just that game. FSX, Fallout 3, Metro 2033, COD MW2..I play them all across 3 screens and no problems.

Well unless your using a CRT then the framerate will be capped at the monitor's refresh rate so anything above 60/75/120 won't be any different.

 that makes it even more confusing then, why just unreal tournament 3 for me? it does it every single time as well, its like an assured way to make me throw up! :(
