I just got halo 2 for vista and I have serveral problem I believe:
1: I can't force subtitles on, I mean I've forced them on, but at start when I get talked to I can't see any subs.
2: AA doesn't seem to work, I've set it to 4x yet its all jaggered, at least it's not that bad as I'm playing at 1280x1024, but AA definatly isn't working, any fixes?
3: Performance is rubbish, it feels all jerky while my damn cpu usage isnt even 35 % ingame, windows usually takes 5 % (background apps ) so the game so far used 30% max of my cpu, a dualcore cpu... Why is it yerky while my cpu doesn't do ****?
Please help I think it's a good game if it'd work, but jaggies really annoy me these days, AA above all these days for me, listening to some silent english whispering doesn't help either, I cant turn up my sound because parents are asleep, but I want to hear what they are saying, I need to get subs working, and finally: Anyone else find it jerky and all, even when turning around it feels like fps drop to like 10 for a mo, I can live with this, hell I've played out CoD2 @ 22 average fps on my old 6600GT, but I'd enjoy it more if it played smooth...
