Halo 3 COOP few questions...

Hello,

Just got the internet back and want to complete halo 3 on Legendary on coop.

Is there anyway of searching for coop games that are already running and joining them like with gears of war ?

i have tried hosting with a mate but i think my connection aint good enough, 6mb laggs all the time.

I ran Coop with mates over a 0.5MB connection, flawlessly.

Might be something wrong with your connections or ISP?

I'm assuming you've checked your NAT settings are ok? I had loads of problems with Halo 3 online until I sorted mine out and now it's perfect, and I live in the arse end of no where with a steam and elastic band powered 1 MB connection

thanks for that, gives me something to look into.

have to say that match making eg rumble pit online works fine no problems at all.

just coop is laggy as hell.

maybe its this crap sky/sagam router :confused:

If you're with Sky (and if you haven't done so already) call up the Broadband support number (anytime of the day though late at night will pretty much guarantee you get through without waiting) and ask if they can decrease the Max_Delay for your ADSL line.

If you goto the DOS screen and type: ping www.jolt.co.uk -n 10 then you will see if you're line has a high ping/ms resulting in possible lag in online games. Once Sky have turned down the Max_Delay then you should be pretty much ok.

just tried that ping thing and got 27ms min, 31ms max and average 28ms

0% loss aswell

Ping is the same as mine (I had a ping of ~80ms before I had Sky reduce my Max_Delay from 32 to 8).

Unlucky though on the 360 if it is dead.

Just got this done, ping's down from 80 to 32 (though the first bloke I spoke to I might as well have asked him the square route of 15654560865313).
