halo 3 midnight launch

Will there be freebies at any of the glasgow stores do you think?

I think i'll just go in the morning and get my haircut as well.
 
Nipping to **** soon, got my beers in the fridge chilling and might pick up some potato based snacks in store.

Been to the 360 and Wii midnight launches to pick up stuff but never a Game midnight launch.

Do you happen to know what the supermarkets are selling it at? Or the one you are working at at least (normal price, not staff discount etc).

I know a video rental store is doing it for 34.99 and I only have time to go to the video rental store or a supermarket tomorrow, at lunch. Normally supermarkets are 39.99 for decent 360 games in release week, just wondered if they might go a bit lower ;)

They was ment to be opening at Midnight here in orpington but after phoning them today was told they opening at 8am because "customers feel they would rather get it in the morn then at midnight" I smell bull :D They've lost my 35 quid tonight going 24 hour asda instead :D

£34.99 for the standard and £44.99 for the collectors, theres no legendarys left in the company though. We got 48 copies so should be plenty in stores if you cant find one elsewhere.

I just saw a flyer up in store saying they would be selling it from Midnight, but that's my local don't know about any other, its a supercentre and its massive got its own sections so they are always open 24 hours in the week.

That rental store does good deals on games £34.99 must be the cheapest on the high street, dont **** charge £45+ chart games.

OK, post back on the price if you get a chance in between Halo 3 tonight!! If it is one of the big 4 supermarkets (which I think it is) then it will be the same price in all their stores nationwide

The rental store have outdone themselves, for a change.

got £3.97 off :D so paid £35.74

Think the Limited Collectors Edition is £52


Drove past to high street shops and there was atleast 100 at one and 50 at another in the cold, went into the supermarket nice and warm and there was about 20 people

Just back from the midnight opening at ***. Went for the limited edition at £49.95 - the standard edition is £37.95. Got two free t-shirts with the game; Guitar Hero II and Halo 3. :cool:
 
I was at a 24hr supermarket to get mine, bout 20 ppl in the queue and my god, it was chock full of nerds! lol! iv never seen anything like it! They were arguing over guns and other in game stuff and how they were going home to "pwn american noobs"! I only went to get it becasue i was at the football n couldnt be bothered getting out my bed to buy it tomorrow!

To sum it up it was horrific :D

Oh and if anybody wants a game il b on tomorrow, add my gamertag in the sig!

lmao, all the nerds where at the front so the must have got there early, seemed like blokes around 30 and just causul gamers next to me in the queue
 
Picked it up at my local 24hr supermarket, they only had standard edition, about 50 copies and only three of us there at midnight to buy it!! lol £39.99 Been playing solid since, new HUD took a while to settle into, character modeling is a little disappointing as reported by GT and some jaggies are quite noticeable but otherwise scenery looks the muts nuts! and it plays and runs smoothly, haven't been online or checked out the video/forge stuff yet looking good so far though!!
