halo 3 problem

just got this game from town finally
updated it everythings fine untill i play in story with brother and its gone from widescreen into normal 4:3 so i got two big black bars both sides :/

is this ment to happen O_o

Its done like that so the screens for both players are the same aspect ratio as when playing it single player - the field of view doesn't change.

Yes, it's to keep the aspect ratio the same. You would get distored fish-lens view otherwise.

Hope you're playing on legendary. It's so easy it's not worth playing otherwise, especially on coop.

Its totally pointless on normal. You don't have to worry about getting hit, use any tactics or anything. You can basically just run through using melee.

Legendary is a must on co-op mate.

I completed it on me own in normal , then with me bro we did it in legendary.

I almost knocked his head off his shoulders due to the fact he kept dying all the time

It depends how you play. On legendary if you in all guns blazing, without thinking you'll most likely die pretty quick. Its kind of like the cod games on vertran, you need to take your time. Make sure you put campaign scoring on too when playing coop - to see who isn't pulling their weight

i completed the campaign on legendary my self the first time. It was hard and actually lasted a while. Doing co-op with my bro atm on heroic, because i expected legendary to take along time and he doesnt like it being really hard

. I didnt realise they put it back to halo 1 style where u can respawn, as thats what made 2 difficult. Ah well, kinda steam rolling the levels anyway hehe.

I just tried doing Heroic alone.... I must have died liek 40 times.

but I aint played halo for ages
