Halo 3 USA Version

Does anyone know if Halo 3 USA version works on UK Xbox 360's

The US Version is so much cheaper to buy.

can anyone help me out with this ?

I am pretty sure that it is region free even the Pal version.

yeah. im reading that the locking is down to the publishers

and that there are many many unlocked games
i was hoping that Halo 3 was one of the ones unlocked

I think EA are the only people who region lock games. a lot of games are region free these days. There is a site which tells you region free games but their a competitor I think.
