Hey all,

Quick question:

How can I avoid getting the 'halo effect' around objects that are against the sky when I select it (feathered) and darken it using the curves/ levels tool?

What I mean is when it is obvious that you've selected a section of the image and the feather can be seen, a feint white line between the subject and the sky which can be quite off-putting sometimes.

Any advice?

Can I ask why you're selecting it feathered - maybe you could do what you want to do without feathering it.
