halo reach

bought halo reach yesterday i feel so disappointed with it, on heroic and legendary elites are way too tough, they are bullet sponges! in the previous games both modes were tough but a fun level of difficulty, dont get me wrong i like a challenge but it doesnt feel right anymore. On the multiplayer aspect of it that is always so highly rated (never managed to fully get into halo multi) it feels so slow and clunky but going back to an analoge pad has made me realise how much i love pc gaming with my mouse keyboard!

dude, im gonna only say this once...why the hell do you think they are called 'Elites' and not 'noobs', they are supposed to be as tough and strong as any SPARTAN and their speed and ability to dodge has been mentioned many many times in the novels. hell the first time John encountered an Sangheili (Elite) he was almost killed and he is meant to be the single best SPARTAN-II, not some SPARTAN-III inbred like members of Noble Team (excluding Jorge of course). making Elites dangerous is one of the best things they changed in Reach from previous games.

heh that was the same tactic i used all the time on ODST firefight on later levels against brutes, works a treat! can't believe so many people just leave plasma pistols and take plasma rifles, they must be mad!

I managed just finished Heroic and loved the challenge.

Yeah it's alright, isn't as quick to charge, doesn't home as much and it's slower to switch weapons now. I did use it against Alrik a few weeks ago though

Plasma pistols are my best friend on Legendary

Whereas the AI isn't, I think most of my deaths came from the gunner on the warthog shooting a grunt rather than the Ghost/Revenant that was pounding us to bits, also why do they not start shooting until you are practically next to them? Th
