Halo series on PC

Does such a wild dream exist in reality? I have a huge urge to play the series, no longer got an Xbox so don't have access to them anymore

Funnily enough I had this urge yesterday. Would love to play Co-Op with a mate after the rather lacklustre Co-Op offering Doom SnapMaps offers.

I just managed to install Halo (the 1st), patched it to 1.10, installed HAC 2 to get some tasty widescreen fix and also FOV adjustment. It plays awesome! Nostalgia flooding back.

Halo 1 on PC was great never understood why it was hated so much. The multiplayer was also great.

Me and a few mates had so much fun on that when it came out. I used to take my Laptop at the time around his house as he had ADSL. It was brutal on my dial up connection.

Buy a used copy of Halo2 still plenty of matches going on every day due to the large mod community after MS shutdown the servers a fan based mod made their own servers

Official MS release of a F2P Russian market only PC Halo3 is also around somewhere and still playable!

Then you have the Win10 Halo Wars2 releasing soon or the excellent Steam Halo Spartan series (cheap & lightweight but a lot of twin stick fun).
